SOLIDWORKS CONFIGURATIONS — QUICK TIP

When modeling, it is often necessary to create different configurations of a part to compare different iterations of the model and this can be done very quickly with the configuration manager. In SOLIDWORKS, there is an option to initialize different iterations of your model, and this can be done very quickly using the modify configurations prompt. The configuration manager table can be used for manually changing dimensions and suppressing individual features and can be done very quickly.
