Credit to Morocco. This Morocco team in particular topped a group with Argentina for a reason and Morocco’s program overall is having a great 2 years.

It is no shame if you lose to Morocco, Morocco has become a serious football country with a good academy and technical players all over the world.

Honestly nobody outside the US thought morocco, a football nation, was gonna lose to the USA

Morocco's squad looks even stronger than the Spanish one. What a golden generation Morocco has right now. They deserve to play the final.

US TEAM is actually not bad at all … but Moroccan team is truly at an elite level in those olympics + the traditional technical prowess of Moroccan players who play either in the streets or the club since the very first years of their childhood … Americans still don’t have this kind of football street culture, but I think it will come with time

Morocco was the first country to recognize America ❤. Good relation between the 2 countries.

Morocco had at least 3 elite players that couldnt come and play in the olympics because their clubs refused to let them play ..i wonder if they came how strong this team would have been

There's a lot of positive things that you can learn from this loss trust me. We also before the Qatar WC we lost against USA 3-0 in a friendly game and that one was like a slap that woke us up and fix many things, after that loss, we made an amazing performance and we made history.
Not every loss is negative, maybe it will be the reason to achieve many goals.
Salut from Morocco ❤

no one knows how strong morocco is, that's why you are so chocked, morocco won the afrikan cup, went for 2 years undefeated then they beat spain canada portugal argentina and brazil and only got beaten by france in the semi final of the world cup. it is a strong team and they are only getting better every match

Who told you Urugway is better than Morocco? Morocco is world ranked 12th by Fifa, they reached 2022 world cup semi finals, their under23 team won African nations cup last year. What is Urugway fifa world ranking?

Like your shows. Different perspective on this, though. American born and raised, spent a year in England when I was 11 years old. Returned to U.S. and have played my whole life and watched U.S. soccer throughout, now 67 years old. The reason people keep being disappointed is they’re starting with the view that the U.S. soccer team “should” be one of the best in the World. Soccer in the U.S. has improved over the last 60 years. In the 1960s and 1970s, we always thought the U.S. had a very small chance of winning each game. It only happened, occasionally, when the other team did not play at their best, and our team showed tremendous grit. We did well in 1994 and 2002. Teams with Casey Keller, Brian McBride, Landon Donovan. They made us proud because we expected little, yet they showed some special performances. Now our fan base has been infected by the mentality that infects the fans in England and other first tier soccer countries. When we play a terrific opponent and lose, it’s a failure. Fire the coach. Bring different players. People don’t remember - every game has only one winner. The U.S. wins in basketball, technology and war. Nobody can always be tops at everything. A lot of other sports still compete with soccer here for public interest and talented athletes - basketball, baseball, football, hockey, In Europe and South America, most of the country focuses on soccer more than we do as a country. The sport has developed in the U.S. in popularity and quality, for sure. But the sport still does not captivate the 😅minds of a large portion of our population as it does in Europe or South America. Our elite youth players don’t get the same level of exposure to top competition as they do in other countries. The story of soccer in the U.S. is one of gradual improvement from 1965 from the bottom 20% of countries in soccer, to somewhere between 20th and 40th in the world. That is just how it is for now. Deal with it, support the team and the coach, and hope for continued gradual improvement in the future. Hiring a celebrity coach is ok with me, but also won’t change things noticeably overnight. Bruce Arena was a better coach for the U.S. than Juergen Klinsmann. How would you rank, among world soccer players, our best player? Top 10? No way. Top 25? Still no. Perhaps somewhere 50-100? Maybe. That Morocco team played wonderfully and we did not. I assume the coaches tried to get other senior players released but could not.

Morrocan players are awesome, that's all !!! U23 African champion, most of them come from the greatest teams all over the world like Real Madrid, Barcelona like Hakimi, Ezazouli, Akhomach etc. So, it's a logical result !

What the Men USA Team all ages missing is the connection with the Ball

What truly shocked me was how many of my friends who don’t care about soccer were texting me to ask me why our men’s team is so bad.

I didn’t think this would reflect so poorly on American fans, but I was wrong. This did more damage to casual fans than Copa did.

Got annoyed having to explain that this wasn’t our actual team but that our actual team sucks worse.
