Thanks man i appreciate your help ive found a set online and was gonna go cheap chinese ebay set but saw blade tek and decided on those as per your advice, dont wanna lose expensive bushcraft knives!

Awesome piece of gear and way to set up the knife for easy access. This is a great idea for quick access when hunting or hiking. I just ordered a Toor Anaconda and a molle lok attachment as well as the blade tech belt lock attachment to be able to swap it if I want to carry it on my body. I’m going to try this the way you have it set up on my hunting pack and see how it does. 🤘

i honestly like the video i would for my personal preference keep it higher up on the strap i like mine above the chest strap near my neck as i know i can get at it with both hands if need be blade always facing outward

That's a heavy knife you could use it as prybar like the bk knife. I have the esee 3 i like it alot. i carry it in my front pocket of my pants all the time at work with the attachment clip that comes with it. It rides to high on the belt and jabs me in the side while driving my truck.The blade is a great slicer for food prep while hiking or camping because of the thin blade but still very durable. Check out the SRK 6 inch knife from cold steel works great for hiking to and light but has a thick blade like your esee 5
