Hi all. So this is a personal vlog from my big Birthday trip to France from start to finish, including as many details as i possibly could. The trip was to celebrate my birthday but i wanted to incorporate a prepper shop to stock up on goods that we dont have in the UK. The video contains many segments, as it was filmed over the 3 days and i have tried to film as well as celebrating my birthday so please dont judge the quality. Some moments were filmed after the Champagne influence. There were also some quite or strange sound effects in some clips as i had to remove the music playing in the shop as it is not allowed so please excuse some bad or silent moments.

You'd love it here Ana, if you think the supermarkets are cheap, look at the house choice. We love the dried sausages, cheeses, cold meats, dairy products, choices of butters and even choices of salts.

I live in Dover and can get across the channel regularly for a wine top up. As for eating on board I always give that a miss. You found that out for yourself.

I’ve never done a ferry-to-France trip but after watching this I am sorely tempted to give it a go (apart from that rubbish McDonalds breakfast, heh!) Don’t think I’d be bothering with all the processed tinned stuff myself (and tinned brussel sprouts? Really?!), and I didn’t see any prices for stuff I’d normally buy that appeared cheaper than over here. But the choice seemed much bigger and the cheese and booze would probably make up for that! Thanks so much for the idea!

That was a really interesting video - I really enjoyed watching it. I used to do a ferry trip to France years ago and this might tempt me to try it again - I think I will wait until next Spring when the weather is warmer.

Wow! What a vast choice! Were our supermarkets anywhere near as well stocked even years ago before the dreaded B word? We used to go in the 90’s and early 2000’s and we once bought a milk pan (very like the posh make) still have it all those years on. Happy belated birthday btw, enjoyed the video 👍
