Yes Penang is relaxing. Compared to other places in Malaysia. Kl too hectic. Penang if you stress U can go to the beach. It is easily accessible. I am local Penang. Beside the foods and durians lol the beach ⛱️. It's one of the reasons I stayed on my island.

Originally, Georgetown was known as Tanjung Penaga especially among the older Malay folks.During my school holidays, staying in Bagan Dalam aka Butterworth.The elders will mention the Island side as Tanjong.
