Connecting Guitars to your Scarlett 2i2

I am using a Fender Stratocaster, a Fender Mustang GTX 50, and a shotgun Rode Microphone NTG4+. I want to use the output from the Fender Mustang directly to the Scarlett 2i2 4th Gen and simultaneously record my voice via Rode Microphone NTG4+.

The Fender Mustang GTX 50 has two line outputs. Can I use any one output, or do I have to use both? If I have to use both, how can I connect the microphone?

Could you help me out with this?

Great, quick Q- line in... drums electric type, , keyboards, drum pads, midi controller no thats just midi in/through, but my bigger question is about line 6 pod go and the 3&4 line in's on back of 4i4 3rd gen audio interface, do multi fx processor pedals with their own amps/preamps and ir's fall under the line in/not inst category?
Im asking because i dont completely understand how focusrite scarlette 4i4 3rd gen wizardry works. On the 3rd gen 3&4 line in's, there's a significant db drop compared to the front 1/4" ts/trs inputs because 1&2 in (front) have pre-amps for intruments- guitars both electro- acoustic and electric guitars, mics- when set to inst, but when set to line the db level difference of line- 1&2 compared to line- 3&4 both line level, its significant so much so just to reach unity in my daw, i have to turn the focusrite control all the way up as well as my pod go master out volume (main outs left and right=stereo out from pod go) all the way up for line in's 3&4 but not 1&2 combined stereo or 1 2 mono.
Ive been searching everywhere for a clear answer to this.
And does the 3rd gen and 4th gen both automatically do the thing with guitars recognising difference between loZ hi Z ?
I amongst many Would appreciate some sage advice from the horses mouth. 👍
