Cyberpunk 2077 is an action role-playing video game developed and published by CD Projekt Red. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One on 10 December 2020, and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2021. The story takes place in Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe. Players assume the first-person perspective of a customizable mercenary known as V, who can acquire skills in hacking and machinery with options for melee and ranged combat.

Cyberpunk 2077 is played in a first-person perspective as V, a mercenary whose voice, face, hairstyles, body type and modifications, background, and clothing are customizable. Stat categories—Body, Intelligence, Reflexes, Technical, and Cool—are influenced by the character classes that players assume, which are NetRunner (hacking), Techie (machinery), and Solo (combat). V must consult a "ripperdoc" to upgrade and purchase cyberware implants; black markets offer military-grade abilities. The rarity of any given equipment is shown by a coloured tier system. V can take cover, aim, run, jump, double jump, and slide. Melee strikes can be dealt with close-combat weapons. There are three types of ranged weapons, all of which can be customised and modified—Power (standard), Tech (which penetrate walls and enemies), and Smart (with homing bullets). Ranged weapons are equipped to ricochet bullets in a target's direction and slow them down in bullet time. Four types of damage can be inflicted and resisted—Physical, Thermal, EMP, and Chemical. Weapon use increases accuracy and reloading speed, which are manifested in character animations. Gunsmiths repair and upgrade weapons. The game can be completed without killing anyone, with non-lethal options for weapons and cyberware.

Night City is an American megacity in the Free State of North California, controlled by corporations and unassailed by the laws of both country and state. It sees conflict from rampant gang wars and its ruling entities contending for dominance. The city is reliant on robotics for everyday aspects like waste collection, maintenance, and public transportation.

With Skippy saying "Bad user", it only happens when you choose the option to say you're going to keep him rather than saying you'll take him to regina. If you tell him that you'll take him back he will continue his normal sassy dialog.

Hey all, in Patch 2.0. You can get skippy back after returning it to Regina for free, just have to wait for a text from her (it’ll be awhile) sitting on a desk where Regina hung out in office building. (gun only tho, no AI). Enjoy!

Just to be clear, after you get 50 confirmed kills using Skippy on puppy-loving pacifist mode, Skippy will ask you why you choose not to kill people. Choose the "I don't know" option. I'm just saying this because it was not said in the video.

I got a non talking Skippy by getting it in act 1 during the haywood lock down before the heist mission. It turns out that you can fast travel to haywood to bypass the police block or automatically being sent in the opposite direction and getting a dialog that you can't go in a certain area. When I picked the weapon up there was no animation sequence or dialogue it was just a regular weapon

I'm trying to fill the apartment weapon stash. So I've done some testing, in the 1.06 version of the game on PC, I could not duplicate skippy AND put him in the apartment stash. When I dupped him, I got 2 versions with the quest to be returned and no quest. I could return him to Regina, but the non-quest one did not transfer to the stash to be put on the wall. I tried to put him in before and after turning the quest in. I tried the drop trick, but it just disappeared. I tried to save and reload, but it did not work either. The only way I could put him in the wall of the stash room was choosing to keep him and just put him in. No duplicating if you want to keep him in the apartment stash. Please upvote so others can see this before they make the mistake.

If you are looking to fill your stash wall with all the iconic weapons, be sure to choose the option to keep skippy and not return it, otherwise skippy becomes a quest item and renders it unstashable!

You technically can skip all this and start with the stone cold killer mode, equip the "non lethal" mod that makes all your shots non lethal, but adds damage. With this, the kill counter is not going up, but skippy is still only doing headshots for ever. served me for 350+- Kills with skippy in killer mode

Stats are different because the equipped weapon does show stats with the character’s damage bonuses. The others just show the weapon’s base stats. If you equip another it will show the same stats as the first skippy and the one you put back in the stash will now show base stats.
