I actually don't give a fuck which phone is faster, what really matters to me is that i really like the Lumia 950XL, and no matter what reviewers mention against it, i'll buy it anyway. I´m sick and tired of my xperia M and my samsung Galaxy s5... authentic laggy pieces of crap.

You cannot be sure which one is faster, the important thing is the system, Windows 10 is still young and its need times to grow up. My Sony Xperia Ultra is slow, camera suck even video but the Lumia 950 they have the Snapdragon 808 max HD and recording 4K resolution video. "No idea why the **** its slow" because its still a baby lol just like you when you're 5 years old and you cant compare an Android which is long ago -_-. Also that was the old Windows 10 Mobile version and the NEW ONE is EVEN FASTER!!!!

I use the lowly Lumia 930 and my phone is nowhere near that slow plus I simply find it easier to use .

it looks like some websites were opened on z5p before the review and cached data makes it faster... otherwise lumia is pretty fast in browsing

Apps being slow to load will be because of not being optimised for Windows 10 Mobile.

Microsoft Edge had a load of issues when the 950 XL was first launched but is getting better with each update. I'm sure if you did the test again it would be much faster.

Camera wise the Lumia 950 XL has also got optimisations after launch.

Thanks ipad 4arab for making it clear, its better to compare a latest Windows phone to another than compare it with an Android phone & vice versa while its clearly know that most apps are updated on Android phones.The comparison that should be there is btw iphone 6 or 7 vs Xperia Z5 for Android phones or the Lumia 950 xl & HP Elite X3 for Windows

Lumia is slow because of optimisation of apps + Windows 10 for 950 is still beta I think :/
I tried browsing system with Lumia 950XL, Z5 premium and with old Lumia 925 I must admit it... Lumia 925 is faster na Z5 Premium... :(

Seriously mate, stop doing camera reviews as they just show your ignorance and lack of knowledge when it comes to photography. I don't own either phone and have no bias... but the Lumia clearly has a superior camera. The first image of the tap was SO MUCH CLEARER and more detailed on the Lumia. The Z5 looked dull and lacklustre and had far less detail on the SUBJECT (i.e. the tap) than the Lumia. You then said the Lumia lacked details on the irrelevant background... have you ever heard of a shallow depth of field? No, I thought not. The boring pic of a bare looking tree with a sky behind it once again showed the superior metering of the Lumia. You took a photo of a tree, not the sky! The Lumia exposed the tree correctly, overexposing the sky. The Z5 was fooled by the bright sky and underexposed the tree (it was basically a silhouette) to get the sky right. In a similar situation a person would come out way too dark at the expense of the sky... something the Lumia wouldn't do (it would expose the person correctly).Looking at your images the Z5 has a strong tendency to underexpose, generally and its colour balance is terrible. The reason the shot of the cushion looked blurred on the Lumia is because it is doing a longer exposure to get the exposure right and if you move even slightly you will get a blurred image. In low light you need a phone tripod attachment or support to keep the camera steady. Alternatively, lean against something to keep steady.I'm still watching the video and OMG you did it again!! Stop talking out of your arse!! If there are very bright and very dark things in the same scene - as a photographer with a real camera you would choose what was important to you in the image, the shadows or the highlight details as you cannot get both!! The Lumia correctly exposed for the hanging garments... the SUBJECT and the Z5 once again totally underexposed the SUBJECT to get the totally irrelevant bright window right. It keeps getting influenced by backlighting whereas the superior metering of the Lumia does better at keeping the SUBJECT exposed as well as possible. Learn about cameras and photography or stop giving poor advice.

10:01 the camera on the lumia dosent turn up the contrast and saturation as much as on the Sonys unrealistic contrast levels and saturaturation
