Jim’s technique is something that I wish I had discovered when I first started playing. Genius. I recently shot a 36 for nine holes at age 81 using his instructions.

Been following Jim for about 2 months more diligently and hcp dropped 3 shots. Very excited about my new swing. I’m a senior and I think this will b my swing till the end of days. I’m getting more proficient as I embrace Jim’s philosophy. Definitely give it a try and work at it and u will see crazy positive results. Thanks Jim.

Great tip. It was a a big moment when I discovered that keeping your right shoulder from rotating would stop the over the top motion. I’ve dropped my handicap from 18 to 8. I still suck at putting though.

I don’t always play golf, but when do I prefer Dos Equis.

Thanks Jim, I had noticed on my better shots, the left shoulder stayed closed as my arms dropped diagonally ( the slot). This is great confirmation.

I actually just realised this at the driving range tonight. I told myself to keep my shoulders facing away from the ball while dropping the the arms. It really worked. So it's strange that I found this video afterwards.

Very good. I use a method exactly like yours. This is the only way I could keep from spinning out. In other words my shoulders and core was way too fast for my arms, so I would hit behind the ball or hit a lot of pushes to the right, being a right handed golfer. I almost have to feel as if I’m keeping my back to the target longer. This makes since since my shoulders and all have alot less distance to travel than my arms…

I understand this. Is there a specific hand/wrist/forearm action that goes with it?

Good tip that’s a lot of what Pete Cowen teaches. Trust me it works!!

I think most people understand this but bad habit is still rotating the shoulders. Like I know I need to keep my back to the target and drop the club into the slot then rotate but physically I can’t no matter how hard i try I still get the top moving to fast. I’m a very right hand/arm person it just takes over naturally no matter how hard I try.

What's next after you drop your club into the "slot"?

I like golf Jesus. It’s probably all nonsense but his presentation is A+

Actually this is 100% spot on the “secret” of the golf swing. It took me years of practice to get this right.

Bro you give lessons? You teach stack and tilt or something else?

So how does the ball get hit then. If I simply let the club fall into the slot without any shoulder turn? If I do turn my shoulders eventually, when? Halfway down? At impact?
