‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣ THIS EPISODE ‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣‣

NOTE: This episode takes place on private property owned by our dear family friends and is NOT open to the public.

After 5 years on the road full-time, we still get so excited to get back to the ranch where we have helped out our family friends with what ever is needed. We have made it out to the ranch for almost all seasons of raising cattle including driving the cows up the mountain for summer grazing, brandings, bringing them back down for fall and winter grazing, and weaning the calves in the fall. The only part we have not experienced so far is calving! We may have to fly in for that one! It is pretty cold there in February with lots of snow! Definitely not RV weather!

This time on the ranch, we jumped right in to packing up and driving 2 hours into the mountains to start gathering the cows for the cattle drive. With so many memories made there over the last half decade, we reminisced with the girls the whole way up about the different adventures we have had and all we have learned on the ranch!

It has become a tradition to bring Corey’s beanless chili up to the cabin and that brought up the question, what do you like to put in your chili? We also had some incredible steak at the cabin as well! We always eat well when we are at the ranch!

On our trip down from the cabin, Corey was chased and almost attacked by the massive sheep dogs that roam the mountains with their herds. Corey made it out ok, but his four wheeler did not.

Stay tuned for the next episode as we try to fix the four wheeler, wean the calves and wrap up our adventures on the ranch!!! Be sure to like and subscribe and click on the bell icon for notifications when we release new videos!

That property is gorgeous! We kept saying “we can do that” then we remembered it snows 😂 We did snow for 31 years and those days are behind us. Love how the girls pitch in and take on any task. 💪 Steaks looked incredible!

We love white bean chili: navy beans, cannellini beans, great northern beans, turkey smoked sausage medallions, shredded chicken, green chiles, red chile powder...AHHHH-Mazing!

With BEANS!

I also wash my vehicles with a hose and my shirt on. Although I am willing to try a different approach. 😂

Made a chili last week. Kidney beans for sure along with ground beef, green peppers mushrooms garlic and onions and pineapple chunks. Good and spicy over rice and spoon of sour cream and chopped cilantro.

Beautiful country ! I would love to stay at a place like that.
Awesome looking steaks. Great job on grilling and cooking those steaks. I wanted to reach through the TV and grab those Filets.
Thanks for sharing.

Some of us have trucks. The rest have Fords, Chevys, and GMCs! 😜💯😂

True chili (or chile for that matter) doesn't have beans. They are considered "foreign objects" at the Chili Cookoffs and their presence is grounds for disqualification at Terlingua at the International Chili Cook-off. Now, that's not to say you can't add beans after you get your "Bowl of Red", so different strokes for different folks.

Out in the "middle of nowhere" is our cup of tea! Thanks for sharing such excellent videos!

Safe travels, y'all!

Cool scenery, as always. Chili with beans is my preference.

One thing I’ve always said about WY is all you have to do is get off of I-25 or I-80 and you’ll find gorgeous country! Love it there and my Colorful Colorado! Oh those darn tie rods, blew one out on Buffalo pass (CO) back in the 70’s. Great video once again guys !

Recently began watching the channel. Love the videos and your joy of life. Chili must have beans, pinto beans by preference. Also, fresh baked cornbread pairs really well with it. I prefer crumbling the cornbread into the bowl/plate and putting the chili on top. Yum!
