Anurag Agarwal, CFA, Managing Director, Corporate and Capital Markets, CLSA

Anurag Agarwal is a managing director in the Corporate Finance and Capital Markets Department responsible for origination. He is in regular touch with the mid-and senior-level management working at Indian corporations who are target clients for capital market and advisory transactions. He has more than 16 years of experience of which more than 13 years have been in investment banking. Agarwal joined CLSA in August 2007 as an associate and has been a part of every transaction in India since then aggregating some US$15 billion. Before joining CLSA, he worked for three years in finance and audit functions at HDFC Bank and Denis Exports Pvt Ltd. Agarwal is a management graduate from the Richard Ivey School of Business, Canada; a qualified chartered accountant; and a CFA charterholder.
