The rounded shape of icons in iOS/iPad OS and now Big Sur is called a “Squircle” which is just a portmanteau of ‘square’ and ‘circle’ smushed together haha

Would you mind explaining why Apple has chosen to stick with gloss monitors when the industry has chosen to adopt matte as the standard? I prefer glossy myself :-)

an issue I've had with Big Sur is that right after I instal it, im not able to use Touch ID for anything. this can be resolved by simply fully shutting down your laptop and then starting it up again. just thought Id share that lol

1:31, I would like to correct. The changes actually come from the apps, not the dock because this applies to Apple's apps only. For the 3rd apps, the icons remaining the same. Apple hasn't taken any action to resolve this problem.

I love the touch bar on my new M1 MacBook Pro. Idk why so many people hate it. It’s so cool and convenient. I have so many shortcuts on it. Instead of having to drag the mouse over to the top, open control center then hit do not disturb I can just simply tap the do not disturb button on the touch at, it’s got emojis on it so you can text a lot easier on the Mac.

Also when using things like Microsoft word it’s super useful to navigate things and use the tools, also while watching YouTube or Netflix etc it’s quicker to tap play or pause on the Touch Bar. There’s so much customization you can do too. I love the Touch Bar
