DRSS Students Use Ohio Energy Project Energy Bike

On Friday DRSS students in Ms. Lydy's Science class had the opportunity to use the DP&L sponsored Energy Bike, made available through the Ohio Energy Program, to experience energy being transformed into light! The students learned about Kilowatt Hours and how energy efficient bulbs (like LEDs and CFLs). Students experienced how the bike became more difficult to pedal as power consumption increased.
