I have been on this issue for 6 days straight. Been frustrated with all the troubleshooting i've done so far which includes tons of youtube videos, troubleshooting articles from AWS, even contacted support and left comments on some youtube videos for help but no one could solve my problem. I was already at the option of creating another instance and manually installing lots of programs from the beginning until something in me asked me to give it one last try. What a number can do.... I mean, just the number "0" solved my 6 days of frustration.

We weren't able to connect to your instance. Common reasons for this include:
SSM Agent isn't installed on the instance. You can install the agent on both Windows instances and Linux instances.
The required IAM instance profile isn't attached to the instance. You can attach a profile using AWS Systems Manager Quick Setup.
Session Manager setup is incomplete. For more information, see Session Manager Prerequisites.

Thank you, that dvice resolved my timeout issue. Now I see if there is a timeout issue once attempt to ssh to EC2 it's worth to check Security groups, NACL and route tables.

I am getting SSH connection failed each time i connect instance, i tried alot, but didn't work for me. I have added SSH 22 TCP inbound traffic rule in my security group. Also i have checked my subnet settings is same as yours. But could not find a way to get out of it. Still in a problem kindly reply me that would be helpful.
