I didnt think he was mean for throwing her in the ocean. I kinda thought he was a little mean for sealing her in that cave leaving her to die of starvation and rot away while stealing her boat though.

I love world mythology and it makes so much sense to me that people living on volcanic islands surrounded by the Pacific ocean would have such unpredictable and strong gods.
