New York AG files lawsuit to dissolve NRA for 'fraud and abuse'

The National Rifle Association faces a fight for survival as New York state is suing them for alleged corruption and misspending. Jeff Pegues reports.

Imagine a politician accusing someone else of misappropriating funds. At least the money they used was voluntary, and not forced from people.

All politicians do this. So if this is the case all US citizens should sue their own leadership and we should appoint new leaders and new political parties. If we are going to point the finger at one group we should do it at all the groups.

As a member of the NRA I am proud of the way we compensate our leaders. What NRA member filed a complaint?

I like how this is basically a class action lawsuit against NRA leadership on behalf of NRA members. So, in order for the NRA to get away with it, the members need to unanimously and openly admit they don't mind getting scammed if it makes them feel better.

This is not an attempt to change 2nd amendment rights. The NY AG is after the organization being used as a personal bank for the heads. In other words, because of their abuse, the law can dissolve our status as a charitable interest group. If this is true and as a member, I want to know if the money I send is being used to support my second amendment rights, or is paying for some blowhards next Caribbean Vacay! What is wrong with you people? Why do you want to support abuse of our rights so someone else can act like a big shot on our f$%king dime! Maybe you should listen again and think about who is helping who! This does nothing to your rights, it it will route out people working for their own self interest and not ours.
