Can you use a tens Unit on a fresh high hamstring strain? It happened 10/25/21. It seriously hurts. My sports medicine doctor referred me to PT, which starts 11/1/21. Until then.... can I use ice, heat, stretching, a tens Unit? Something has got to help! It’s definitely not fun!
Thanks for sharing valuable information!

I have a TENS unit for several reasons, dystonia that effects my upper and back neck is one of them. Whenever I use the electro pads on my neck they come off, though my neck is clean. I’m guessing that I have to shave my neck to have the pads stick better. If that doesn’t work is there some secret thing to getting the pads to stick better and last throughout the day?

My issue is centralized. Starts at the base of the neck, to the right some where I was injured falling on a metal frame. Solid metal. Might as well been concrete. Anyway, it starts there and aggrevates migraines and my right arm. Im trying tens because everything else was a failure. Trigger points aren't covered by my workers comp anymore. The 80 95 whatever injections on my neck n stuff. The deep tissue injections were a massive fail. I was paralyzed by them. Either bad spots or response whatever. Physical therapy aggrevates the injury, increases pain n suffering. So im stuck on medications for treatment n pain. So for use of tens on nerve damaged areas whats the thought process n placement?

My brother had a spinal stroke last year and he has a lot of nerve pain in his legs. He says they burn all day long and his existence is miserable because of it. Would a good Stim unit help ease some of this pain? Like using it in a position on the back that can full the pain in legs? I would appreciate any info. Or could you link me to any videos on treatment to help with nerve pain.

To be the best on the internet you should have a complete display working. Like that second wire is like $2 and you don't have it?
