Sounds like you don't have the codec installed or the codec is having issues. I would try a different one.

Hello, I just downloaded the program and am converting, the conversion reaches 32% and both times I have initiated the program the computer switches off on its on.
I have noticed the fan is working extra hard whilst converting.
I am operating on a lenovo G560 Windows 7 Home Prem OA - could it be my laptop simply can't keep up with the conversion process?

Hmm, well usually that means that you have a codec issue on your system. I would suggest trying to encode with a different codec.

Looking at the cnet download my av does go off as well, but its for adaware/toolbar such. Didn't do that previously, so a toolbar or something must have been added to the app recently. Dunno. Regardless ESET NOD32 doesn't classify it as a virus/trojan.

Virtualdub is what I generally use for video editing. It is basic but for cut and paste and crop operations and such it is good, but if you are looking for something with a storyboard type thing sadly i know of no good free utility. The Windows Movie maker is probably best free one that I can think of and I really don't like that program... Sorry I cannot be of more help.

??? It converted to avi, so now i can at least open it with media player... But now its just an audio file! Please help, i have tried EVERYTHING i can think of....

@JennFaithMusic Just put the folder with all the Pazera files into your user, on your computer like C:/Program Files/ Users/ (Your Computer User)
Should work if you put it in there! :)

Very nice video but i get a problem when i do it. I get a System Error Code 193
%1 is not right in Wind32-program
or something like that..
Any suggestions what might help please??
But if that error would not come i think this movie would be great :)

@JohnblFilms I'm afraid I really don't know, but from the error code you might check to see if you have spaces in the file name that you are trying to create. That is about the only idea i have i'm afraid. sorry!

@SirxMMPD Found out the problem. Had to put the folder into a folder with admin permission :))

iDealshare VideoGo also works great to convert between various video format like mov, avi, flv, mpg, mp4, mkv, wmv, apple prores, rmvb, etc
