If this doesn't work, it is because you have Powertoys Run enabled. That over-rides Windows.

A great tip. The Windows key plus the arrow keys are also great for reshaping and moving windows in general or helping with your stuck window example. The Windows key + Shift + left/right arrow are also great for a dual-monitor setup, teleporting the window from one monitor to the other. I use these key combos all the time. I mention them for your learning viewers. I’m sure you already know these. Thanks, Richard.

I’m looking for a software that allows me to switch between different opened windows/apps that are currently expanded in certain monitors.

For example I have 6 monitors. I want to press F1 to toggle between opened windows/apps in the screen 1 or press F2 to toggle between opened windows/apps in the screen 2, and so on.

Maybe there’s is an existing tool for this quick hot key built in windows that I don’t know. Or maybe someone can point me out, many thanks.

what if the window is not down far enough or something is low and covering half the addressbar so one cant get a grip. I can move sides of it by arrow key but i cannot reposition it a tiny bit down because also minimize and the x is not showing.

Thank you so much! I couldn't scroll down because the browser somehow was too far over. I could use the keyboard, but I prefer to use the cursor. Thanks again!

Thank you!! I was having issues with a window opening on another screen, but not actually showing up on any of the other monitors. I used to know the shortcut to move the windows around with the arrow keys, but forgot what it was. This helped me so much!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Great tip thanks. Windows has frustrated me for years when switching between one and two monitor desks with windows appearing off screen. Thank you for making life less frustrating.

LOL!!! If I had a dime for every time I had to close a "stranded" window and then build it up again... Thanks for the info on keyboard shortcuts!

It doesn't work when you want to move a window partially outside of your screen (if that makes sense). When you hit enter it pops back to it's original position. Is there a way to do this without the mouse?

This is a fantastic tip. I run a multiple monitor setup while gaming, and was running into problems shutting games down with task manager when ever they crashed. When I opened up task manager it just opens it up on my primary monitor, unfortunately behind the unresponsive game. Now I don't have to hard reset my PC when this happens. Thanks so much!
