A Mysterious Man From Another World ? - The Man From Taured #shorts

It’s July 1954; a hot day. A man arrives at Tokyo airport in Japan. He’s of Caucasian appearance and conventional-looking. But the officials are suspicious. On checking his passport, they see that he hails from a country called Taured. The passport looked genuine, except for the fact that there is no such country as Taured – well, at least in our dimension.

The man is interrogated, and asked to point out where his country supposedly exists on a map.

He immediately points his finger towards the Principality of Andorra, but becomes angry and confused. He’s never heard of Andorra, and can’t understand why his homeland of Taured isn’t there. According to him it should have been, for it had existed for more than 1,000 years!.

The guy was a con-man named John Zegler or something like that. He made his own passport in the 50s claiming sovereignty citizenship. It’s just a legend now.

John Allen Kuchar Zegrus is the reported name of a man detained in 1960 in Japan for alleged document fabrication. He was dubbed the "Mystery Man" by Japanese news at the time, and became a prototype for some urban legends.

What actually happened was that i think he said "im from taured" and lied about what he did for a job and got arrested for fraud

Edit:this is what actually happened he claimed he was from south Ethiopia and made a whole life story but he lied about it and he claimed he fought in the war and he was a spy and was on a mission to go to Egypt for a spy mission and they found out about his real country and they were shocked that taured is not his country so they arrested him for fraud
