Quintana's last 7 starts(inc. WC game 3): 0.64 ERA (3 ER in 42 1/3 innings)...WOW!!!

Imagine if the falcons had some semblance of a pass rush by way of a top 10 pick

That was an all time epic homerun by Pete. I love Pete, it was so difficult to watch him struggle all season long. But that is a career defining type hit. Could really propel them to a deep run

34 HR and 88 RBI is an off year for Pete Alonso. That is a career year most players can only dream of...perspective.

This might be the first time I’ve heard Colin cover the Mets lol

Buccaneers at Falcons and Washington at Bengals have been the best games this season so far. Thank God for Monday and Thursday nights 🙏🏼

At around @5:50 “The intensity in New York is different.” Even the best have off years. “Struggling” Pete had 34HRs & 88RBIs while “MVP candidate” Francisco Lindor had 33HRs & 91RBIs. It can be perception & also timing ie the significance of your hits. Were they crucial ones in big moments. Pete is a homegrown Met who plays every day, says all the right things, never complains, never causes drama & is a fan favorite as the face of the franchise. So happy for Pete. They poked the Polar Bear & now he has woken up. The Mets need to resign him & keep him a Met for life along with Severino & Manaea who have been vital starters for the Mets.

Whatever happens this team is special & it’s been a phenomenal season. What a game & what a series. One team wins & another loses. One fan base is elated, the other deflated. The Brewers & their classy fans can hold their head up high. They have nothing to be ashamed of. They had a great season & in the end only one team wins. 7 other teams will be losers before this ends. The Mets face a huge test against despised rival Philly. Their ace Zack Wheeler is a former Met who idiotic ex-Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen let walk to Philly in free agency for nothing. He’s one of the best pitchers. Same with Lugo. Both still sting. They can’t make the same mistake with Pete.

Whatever happens from here on out Pete had one of the most important homers in Mets history & he had his special moment which was vital. Looked like Pete had the weight of the world on his shoulders but on his way to first you saw him trot with utter exuberance & a ginger lightness which has been missing. So happy for him.

Let’s Go Mets!🙂👍

the refs last night were so hilariously clueless i was dying, there were 2 refs within 5 yards of each other on the field goal, the ref didn’t spot the ball before the spike, called delay of game while ref was blocking the snap, was so obviously lost its just a joke at this point

Watched Alonso hit at least twenty times throughout the summer. Struck out every time. Thanks for swatting a homer against my Brewers last night Pete, guess that changeup was too predictable

Fun fact: Kirk Cousins had over 10 game winning drives in his 2022 campaign, where the Vikings went 13-4. I listened to every single nationally syndicated sports broadcaster in America call it flukey.

Today, Cousins is in a marginally larger sports market and has one singular great game/comeback and I have to listen to everyone talk about how he has been clutch for a while now.

I like Colin Cowherd, but I will never pretend he knows what he’s talking about, because if he did he wouldn’t have magically came to this conclusion last night.

"Talk about efficiency." You mean like going 18/18 in passing... 🙄 no instead you were impressed by the Seahawks.

Okay I’m a Met fan, I’m not in NY, but I’ve had no inkling of the tide turning on Pete. A career Met who produces offensively? I knew he could leave, but every Mets fan I know wants him to stay. Franchise-homegrown talent is valuable. Just ask the Braves

Whoever wrote the Pete Alonso/Mets segment for Colin should be ashamed of themselves.

Moony drops a lot of passes. That's why the Bears got rid of him 😂

Now you’re saying that you’re into stats? You have said multiple times in the past that you are NOT a stats guy. This dude flops like a damn fish. 😂😂😂
