Hardtail vs Full Suspension Mountain Bike - what bike to buy for trails or XC.

I agree. You hear everywhere how full suspension bikes are a must and how they are the best thing after sliced bread, but nobody tells you there are a lot of compromises to be had with a full suspension bike compared to a hardtail or a rigid. Climbing fast is a lot harder, even with rear shock locked, descending gives you less control, as you can't feel the rear wheel hitting the obstacles, weight increases with a full suspension bike etc.

Hi I have a Raven 2000 with fatty ultra fork and love it. I use it for most of my MTB rides but I also like the simplicity of a hardtail.
If I were to buy a new bike now it would be a hard tail with plus size tyres for comfort as I'm not getting any younger :-)

Zwracam uwagę na język: the jako di czytamy kiedy wyraz rozpoczyna się samogłoską czyli, ,di apple'', ale już przed wyrazem hardtail będzie, ,de'', czyli Di Apple, Di Onion, i De Hardtail ale już słowo The Universe będzie, ,de'' pomimo że jest samogłoska.
