Goodfellas was one of those movies where you sit down and lose all track of time and don't even think about anything else until the credits roll. You know it was well done I don't find movies today that can do that lot of times looking at the time wondering when it will be over.

Goodfellas was about 65% true, The Irish men was Bs, both made good cinema, Donnie Brasco was a pretty much accurate movie. Al Pacino, A perfect Lefty, Johnny Deep one of his best , playing the real Joey P.

I'm surprised Sammy didn't mention that not only did they know that crew in Goodfellas but Gotti was the one that orchestrated the hit on Pesci's real life counterpart for killing two Gambinos, both friends of his. Obviously Billy Batts, but there was a second one they didn't talk about in the movie. You can't kill two made guys like that and expect to live. But Tommy was a real psychopath from everything I have read about him. And he was tall, not short. I read somewhere Henry said he thought Tommy might've been a real serial killer and that he killed people for fun.
