In what is one of the biggest acquisitions ever, Microsoft has now purchased Acitivsion Blizzard, meaning the the Xbox brand is arguably stronger than ever.

Games have been progressively getting shittier and this has ran hand in hand with more anti competitive corporate moves like this. The more studios and competitors the better the games. When you’re only competing with yourself do you honestly think the games will be better?

This was just as blindsided as Microsoft acquiring Bethesda. I never bought an Xbox, but will happily fight for a Series console if they throw Bobby Kotick out the door.

I actually think Microsoft are preparing for the generation after this one when alot of physical games will dissappear and subscription models are the only option for gamers. Sony is fine for now but id be worried about them when this generation ends.
