The expressions the crab makes during the film is hilarious

I love how they actually made the movement look natural, she moves almost like a seal would on land, and there's nothing graceful about it, the body slams and wide arcing attacks are what really sell just how immense she really is compared to the crab/the other monsters shown, that and just the sheer *length* when she's being pulled into the castle bay. It's really cool
Also the crab being thrown is funny as hell

Anyone feel like there’s a dark secret here??

I feel like there was something to the sea creature, more than what met the eye. Why would it do desperately want to attack the royal ship? And put itself in danger by heading to the inevitable as well?

I believe that the war started by the royals making a deal with the witch. (I’m still not sure as to why)
She cursed people into sea monsters,

And when a caption managed to kill the largest one by using her help, after that monsters death, that caption would turn into a sea monster and his crew would all turn into birds that would follow him/her.

It’s also makes sense as to why the witch tells captain crow that the price to her help is “Everything…”

Again, this is just a theory
