I have to strongly disagree with Ben - I’m a Floridian and very grateful to have DeSantis as our governor - well, in 2022, anyway - didn’t see much of him in 2023, as he was gallivanting all over the country instead of doing the business of Florida - but was very happy to have had him during Covid - but he was Trump’s student in many ways & in this case, the student has not surpassed the teacher - after all the help President Trump & his family gave him, he should be ashamed that he ran against him & it had exactly the outcome that almost everyone predicted - he was so well thought of before that & now he’ll be lucky if his political career is not over

As a person who NEVER went off the Trump train, I found the people backing Desantis were absolutely UNBEARABLE on X trashing Trump supporters. Desantis calling Trump supporters "listless vessels" didn't help matters either.

My opinion is very similar. DeSantis is the person I believe would make the best president, but it's quite obvious that Trump has the majority.
