If I understood you correctly, you asked whether Stralsund is a village? (2:47 minute)
First of all, in the original video you will find the names of all the places shown in the subtitles. (It's also in the description of the video).
In Germany, a city is defined as a settlement with more than 2, 000 inhabitants. A large city must have at least 100, 000 inhabitants.
Stralsund in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (north-eastern Germany) has about 60, 000 inhabitants (as of 2021).

My city, Bremerhaven, is considered a large city with 120, 000 inhabitants. Bremerhaven is the exclave of the smallest federal state - Bremen in northwest Germany. Incidentally, it is also the place where many Americans emigrated to America in the 19th century. We have an emigrant house (museum) here that deals with this subject.

Wir Deutschen nehmen es teilweise hin und wissen nicht zu schätzen was wir haben. Wir haben so viele schöne Plätze. Das sollten wir hochschätzen.

Located mainly in front of the town hall, town-hall-place or church or both.
>> Fresh Fruit and vegetables can be bought at a German Wochenmarkt, where *local farmers sell their produce one or two mornings a week.*
You can also buy fresh Bread, sausage, meat, cheese, poultry and fish, as well as other groceries and cut flowers there.

They're part of our historical, national and culural heritage. It's our collective duty to preserve those buildings for future generations so that they can see and enjoy them too. ✌😊

Those are not villages, but are considered cities. Being a city used to be a legal status rather than size related. A city had the right to trade and have a market, defensive walls as well as often have it's own jurisdiction and taxation. City rights could be diverse and would increase over time. Some cities grew big, some stayed small. If it has walls, it's a city most of the time. Otherwise it is a fortress.

This already overwhelming amount of impressions is just one country in Europe. There's so much stuff to see, that you really have to take some time at every place to get a bit of an impression about places.

You don't have to apologize for the tears. Emotions are part of it, that's why you're human. And by the way - you have ancestors here, maybe these are the inner spirits that connect you with this country and that's why you feel a certain attachment. These are the emotions of the ancestors - maybe. 🤔

Greetings from Germany

8:10 "What are those" : It´s a regular, mostly weekly food market, where you can buy fresh organic local fruit, vegetables, meat, cheese and flowers. Every German town has those. Small towns only in the city center squares. Bigger cities have mutliple ones distributed across the city districts. They are the traditional predecessors of supermarkets. They usually open very early 6-7am and close around noon.

As a German, living in Germany, I sometimes take for granted the beauty of my country with all the political, geographical and demographical bullcrap going on. Seeing how you, even after generations connect to the beauty of our architecture, our forests, our mountains and the monuments makes me happy and also sad, that there are Germans living in 5th, 4th or even 3rd generation, that have been stripped off of this beauty, because of rough times (Which we will have again in the near future) that have all been placed upon us. Sometimes I wish we could turn back the time and make it so nobody is forced to leave this or any other country for that matter. We could need y'all here. We sometimes forget how important our roots actually are. Come visit us soon! :-)

The tents look like a market. Some cities or towns have weekly markets, but the citiy I live in has one daily market every day, where you can buy all the foos groups

The video makes it look as if Germany is one big open air museum, or a theme park. Keep in mindthat life here is more than that, it has all the usual aspects, problems and circumstances.

18:40 Elz Castle - Owned and inhabited by the same family for around 800 years. My favorite castle in Germany as it is still original and didn't have to be rebuilt like many others after WW2.
