My life will have a major hole when Dan also joins Peter in the retirement queue. These 2 gents have been my constant companions for the lady 20 odd years. So long Peter!! Happy trails

Really sad. I read him weekly and this will be a loss. You’ll be missed Peter.

Peter represented what we need more of today and that was QUALITY over quantity

Sad day. Guy was a legend. Always first names I searched in YouTube to get his latest. Pity he is retiring

What is one answer you’d want to know—what a question! DP is just the greatest.

My question is why Belichick benched Malcolm Butler for the Super Bowl. Butler played more defensive snaps than any other player that year, and was the hero of the previous Super Bowl win against Seattle.

Peter we’ll miss your conversations with Dan, and also Mike Florio. Thanks for all you’ve done for NFL fans. And Mike Florio was 100% right the other day: you drove to the Super Bowl with the Eagles coach last year (if I remember correctly)…and this year, you sat — alone, and one-on-one — with Chiefs coach Andy Reid, just minutes after his team WON the Super Bowl. In today’s media world (which is so far away from the days when Michael Irvin was excited to see you, because that meant Sports Illustrated was covering their game that week), that kind of “access” speaks volumes about how respected you are, how much people trust you & your professionalism, and the status you’ve achieved in your career. And as someone who’s been watching football as long or longer than you’ve been writing about it, I think Mike Florio was 100% right: it’ll be a long, LONG time, before anyone — let alone one of these hot take specialists or podcasters, who get all the attention these days — is granted the opportunity to spend time alone with a Super Bowl coach, in the time just before or after the Big Game. All the best of luck & enjoy (semi-) retirement!

Peter will be sorely missed. He is from the generation where integrity and honesty was the norm. Today’s guys are for the clicks, ratings, shock and sensationalism which is sad.

I love it that Peter is retired now and is in the F*$k You zone. He can let it all hang out.

If Peter King's legacy wasn't already secure, it is now. Security on court, after a game, using 'Funnell to the Tunnell' people or maybe even The King Manouvre 🙂

I’ll always remember clay Travis absolutely embarrassing him.

Let's not put all the blame on Justi Field, bad OL, a lack of receivers, bad OC, and the defense failed him when they had a chance to win several games...

Peter bitch slaps Dan regarding Brent's induction to the Hall of Fame. I agree with Peter that Brent is deserving but it is not the most critical issue.

Imagine if a rogue beat reporter “kidnapped” the top draft pick in today’s age
