Our position is safe. We are hidden well amongst the trees. All that is left is to ambush the incoming enemy troops, just like how it was planned. We waited for days, but was only met by fatigue and insomnia. The eighth day arrived, we were exhausted and tired of waiting. Suddenly, the alarm were sounded.
"ENEMY IN SIGHT!!!! INTO POSITION!!!!"
The watchmen shouted from the observation tower we build at a tree.
We enter position, ready for ambush, only to be greeted with silence. A soldier, a friend of mine, fed up with this mission leave his post and went to the observation tower.
"I SEE NO ONE HERE!!! I HAD ENOUGH OF THI-"
He was cut short with a hole in his head. My other comrades, seeing what happened in front of them, panicked and scrambled.
I hear screams and body falling on the ground. I was still hidden in my post, then i saw it.

There was no enemy troops.





There were only four men, dressed in what might be a uniform, on horseback.
One of them hands something to his companions. His companion thanks him in a language I understand but was never used in this world as far as I knew. I was strike with horror and fear. The language they spoken was only recorded in ancient texts that was passed down from 12 generations ago. History regarding this language's origin was shrouded in mystery. The only information we know is that it's not of this world.

It was german. And they're planning for invasion.
