We must win Georgia to make Manchin and Sinema irrelevant. Donate, volunteer, write letters and do anything you can to make sure that happens.

McCarthy gettings shoved out from being speaker again would be so funny... Just would hope someone like Jim Jordan doesn't get it instead. Even Scalise is better.

I'm from the UK so perhaps I'm just blessed to have a very efficient election administration but it does seem absurd to me that it's a week after election day and you still seem to have hundreds of districts processing ballot papers. According to the ABC election page it looks like most Californian districts have only processed about 50% of the votes.

I take the point that California law says that your vote counts so long as you post it by election day but surely they can count the ones they already have and then hold another count a week later to count the ones that came in since election day.

Am I missing something?

What are the chances of in a tiny R majority, the Democrats get a couple of Republicans to vote someone like Liz Cheney for speaker?
