Several things:
1.) This song is really good and uplifting, as well as being an absolute banger.
2.) Rhyming “human” with “doing” was unexpected and glorious.
3.) “It’s AL-RIGH-I-IGHT” was a very Regina Spektor/Tori Amos thing, and I appreciate it quite a lot.
4.) 1:31 is the moment when Elise conflated sad and mad, sadness and madness, but it’s okay because the rage was wonderfully palpable.

watched this when i was genuinely upset and i just have to say: thank you so much elise, oh my god. i'm struggling through such a hard time rn with sorting through my multiple mental problems and balancing everything in my life with no therapy there to guide me and with only the support of my friends to help me.
