This type of wear is very common for the 1-2-1 knobby pattern when** ridden on the street/paved at speeds greater than 45mph for extended periods.

Great review, I had the exact same problem with my front MT21. Ride more road than dirt but have to have aggressive tires for the hills in eastern KY. Hope to find a better replacement for the front. I was really happy with the rear tire. Thanks!

Glad to find your review. I just ordered a set of these. I have stock tires on my bike. Good on the road but really lacking in the dirt and mud .

Just bought my first set, replacing a set of irc trails 22 ( they sucked in sand ) hopefully the mt21 will be much better.

Strange condition. Had a front and rear set of these tires on my 750 Africa Twin for a Morocco ride. 5, 000km/3, 000 miles. Rear was half worn and front was like new.

Why would you compromise your safety over a few dollars? Quality tyres are everything. Such a small surface area protecting your neck from the ground.

Great review! Thanks. I'm actually thinking of getting some of these. I currently have the t63's and love them, but would like something more off-road. I heard you mention you where going to get some for the rear. If you did how do they compare to these pirellis. Which would you think are better. Should I stick with the t63's or go for the pirellis. Thanks man (I to have a klr but 650)

thats the weirdest wear ive ever seen ! how did the 2 wear so much faster than the 1 on the front? after the 2 wear then the 1 surely sticks out more and then its wear catches up. seriously strange.
