The planets wouldn’t just get instantly pulled towards the neutron star, that’s just the gravity at the surface. Most neutron stars we have discovered are actually only 1-2 times the mass of our sun, albeit tightly packed in a space less than 30 km. If anything, it would be the radiation from the star that would kill us, and all of the orbits in our solar system would very likely still be stable, as the sun has not lost or gained any mass.

Whether we get sucked into it depends on if the sun turns into a neutron star with the mass it has or if it turns into a neutron star with the volume it has. If the mass stays the same, its gravitational pull would stay the same, therefore we would stay in orbit. If the volume stays the same it would very quickly turn into a black hole after a short time because of how massive it would be and then we would get sucked in.

However, even if we stayed in orbit, I doubt the radiation from a neutron star would be forgiving for the life on earth. Planet would be fine, but it is likely that we would all fry to death.
