For the past 20+ years we have had working dogs; Labs who were trained as hunting dogs and retrievers, a Lab trained as an art gallery greeter and my current Lab/Staffy mix who is my emotional companion and alerted and saved me from a dehumidifer (overheating) fire recently. I cannot imagine my life without them!

over the course of history dogs have been used as hunters, police men, firefighters, guides for handicap people, sled pullers, messagers for army men, lifeguards, Aztec warriors, doctors, companions and so much more.

Cats have always been used for hunting mice but that's enough to make them have jobs among the greatest people in history. Cats have been explorers, deities, vikings, pirates, pilgrims, navy sailors, therapists, farmers, and companions

sadly the Huskies nowadays are bred out of their original use back when they always pulled sleds. Mushers use mutts, mostly Husky x Border Collie crosses for stamina and endurance.
