He must have been great therapist. I can only imagine, how fast his patients would get better.

This is true, and I needed to hear you say this, because I retired two years ago, and I do nothing.

It's never too late to set new goals and pursue new passions, and taking action toward those aspirations can help alleviate anxiety and feelings of stagnation. It's okay not to have everything figured out, but taking small steps towards a goal can make a big difference in how we feel about ourselves and our future.

this was happening to me the anxiety was unbearable. I was pushed out of it by some things I couldn't control and my life is infinitely better.

I’m curious, why do you become tearful ? I am the same way . I feel with me, the acknowledgment or recognition brings me to tears . I give selflessly and when I’m seen I become overwhelmed with a sense of self . A curious listener .❤❤❤ Namaste 🙏 ❤

Everything Dr. Peterson said is my mantra. There has to be a pathway to get what you need in life. There is a big personal struggle there for every human. It's a different chemistry for every person, but you have to go through constant development to compete with other humans. Especially with a constant immigrant population of who some are smart enough to take your engineering job. Don't do nothing and immigrant is going to eventually beat you in every way. They'll work cheaper, work longer hours. You have to be better than a person struggling for their lives. They are trying really hard. If your sleeping, an Asian or Indian immigrant is going to take your job and put your family on the street. These are hard realities here in NYC. We have a labor market here that works at nearly cost. You have to be better than that, and the only way I know to do that is to put more effort into myself developing myself into something they cannot do. You have to be a good communicator to do what I do. If your an engineer, there is an immigrant putting his papers through so he can do your engineering work at 1/2 price. You have to update yourself on the newest technology. You may even have to read a few books.

He’s right, u have to always keep moving doing something. Start exercising, join a book club, meetup or join an association related to a hobby, so u can interact & open up new possibilities

I can relate to this video. I'm elderly now, chronically fatigued, suffer dizziness, suffer migraines, etc. plus estranged from my family of origin. I've practically quit working on my YouTube channel. Few people seem to like poetry.

Thank you. I thought isolation to grieve 3 family members, learn to adjust, not be that depressing pity reminder to others of loss and not to have to continually reassure others that I'm okay, enjoying my life. Since 2019 have had all necessary items delivered, COVID generated more delivery options even though I live in a rural area. I work on building my strength, projects, mental exercises. But, lately though not lonely, I have begun to wonder. Yes, becoming anxious. I needed to hear this. Though I'm satisfied, have projects. But, I don't know, I always thought change was a required exercise for growth.
