To The Deal Guy: I'm watching your video right now and asked to send our costs to you. I am not paying about $150 per month. N0 more - I just installed the Amazon fire tv stick in my guest bedroom and now going to install one in my bedroom. So far so great! I'm returning 2 cable boxes tomorrow and 1 more left - my main living room. i can't wait to be 100% cable free! Thanks for your videos!

I cut the cord about 6-7 years ago and I have no regrets.  I watch amazon, hulu, Netflix and a bunch of others.  I love it!!!

Cut the cord about 10 years back...was reluctant at first but I am so glad I did it. I do not mind watching stuff the next day or later like with Hulu and now that I look back on it I love the freedom of not having my life's schedule tied to the tv schedule. Really the only live show I want to watch now is when you go live! Thanks for the info, Matt!

Cut the cord and sooo happy I did. I do PlayOn now for $40/year. I'm happy just recording my shows and watching them commercial free at a later time.

currently using playstation vue. We tried Sling but the buffering was insane and we have a fast speed. Vue has worked the best I just wish Viacom channels were available. We pay 29.99 for the lowest bundle. Includes HGTV and CNBC so we are set. I was interested in youtube tv but with the $35 price point for such limited channels that can only mean it'll go up more as they add more channels. For now vue is the best option

Matt, thanks to your info and demonstrations, I conquered my tech fears and have cut the cord!!! I use a free HD antenna for national and local networks, $25 month Sling tv for live and past episodes, and Netflix for movies! So easy to set up, manage and I love it!!! So, for $35 a month I'm all set!! I stream all through a roku stick.

We've put cutting the cord off again, for now ... Time Warner changed to Spectrum and when we got our bill, they had jacked up the price. Hubby took the invoice into their office ready to tell them to cut our bundled service down to internet only and ended up negotiating us a pretty sweet deal - only for a year, of course, and then we'll either make the cut or negotiate another deal. Who knows what offerings will be available by then, so I'll be watching for more cord-cutting deals! Thank you for great info as always, Matt!

hey Matt, I cut the cord way back in 2000 because it was not cost effective to pay for useless programming. I am perfectly happy with network TV. I now though have Amazon prime which is great!

This was a great segment.  Thank you for taking the time to explain the YouTube and other options, and thank you for doing it so non-techies (like me) can understand most of the content.  I currently pay $147.00/mo. for Dish Network which is ridiculous but options for those of us who live in rural America are limited.

We cut the cord about a month ago. We are still figuring it out. we use Amazon Fire TV with Kodi, Amazon prime and Netflix. We get our network channels through the antenna. We went from $200 to less than $10 a month. We are also prime members.

Matt, I watch you daily, I am a big fan! I cut the cord 3 years ago. I am very happy with that decision, only wish I had done it sooner.

We were talking about cutting the cord just a few days ago. As soon as our contract with Dish is up shortly we will definitely be going to YouTube TV! Thanks!

Maestro, I have never "cut the cord" because I've never had the cord. Cable is WAY too expensive in my area and I'm not allowed to have satellite tv. So, when I want to watch something I usually grab a dvd or download a movie/tv show from Amazon Prime. (And of course, I always try to catch up on The Deal Guy Channel!) Either way, I've never been a big tv watcher. I'd rather get on the internet, read a book, play/write music or spend time with family or friends. Do things that are more beneficial and productive.
GREAT JOB introducing and highlighting YouTube TV and comparing it to similar services. Hey, maybe there will be "The Deal Guy TV Channel" in the near future. If so, don't forget us little people...just sayin'!
Adios compadre! :-)

Couldn't find a comment space on the live video (4/15) but you for the ALWAYS AWESOME DEALS! And FYI I watch all your items whether I need it or not because I always learn something. Happy Passover-Happy Easter. Blessings on your household. 😊

I have Sling. Works for me because my Bldg offers antenna tv; all basic channels are free for me. I augment with HULU. Cool thing about Sling is that I have access to many network apps, and that is where I see much on-demand.

not sure why more ppl dont subscribe to Youtube TV. Yes its missing a couple channels but other than that it beats every service out there. Unlimited cloud storage and works seamlessly on your mobile devices and computer, NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE. The playback is flawless
