When I first became interested in beekeeping, I read George Imrie's "Pink Papers". One thing he always stressed was a beekeeper's most valuable possession is drawn comb.

Not familiar with 9 frame strategy. Will try to find reasons. Just watched Hawaii videos, and getting ready for my first spring as a bee keeper. Thanks for your hard work.

Weather has been good for the bees in H, burg, MS for 2 wks + . Just got a change but when this rain clears look out-brood city will need some room. From 10 nucs in 19 to 44 + 25 splits this yr.. I'm a lone beekeeper so i can't keep up. But i love it!

I'm completely out of drawn comb!!! So it's good to see your bees are building. I'm just a little north and our time frames don't differ by much. I will put on a box of frames today!!! Thanks to you and Laurel for all the great videos!!

In VA, swarm season has already started. Collected my first one yesterday off of an oak tree. It was 48° F and raining that morning.

Hey Kamon, had my first swarm March 1. I live in North, MS near Tupelo. Then that same hive swarmed again two weeks later. Another one swarmed this week. These hives are coming out of winter very strong, Thanks for your videos.

I've learned allot from you. This is my second year and thinks are looking great. It's nice to have someone in your own weather zone to learn from.

I am a little envious of you! The spring here shows from the right side, being a real spring. Daytime 5-10 degree celcious (40-50 f) nighttime negative 5-10 c (negative 23-14 f). I have just been able to check my bottomboards this weekend. But hopefully in a few weeks the warmth might come back to my part of Sweden. Then the ground will be all White with Lilies of the vally, some hepatica, coltsfoot, cowslip, hazel, sallow and so forth. Looking so much forward to that! Lot's of love from Sweden!
