Vocal Effects Pedal Board. In this video, I'm going to take you through the ZOOM V6 Vocal Processor. This is a powerful multi effects pedalboard made specifically for vocalists and can be used live or in the studio. Every type of vocal effect can be found here, including pitch correction, vocoding, harmonization, as well as the standards like delay and reverb. It includes a shotgun mic for the best results, so it really is an all inclusive package. There's also a looper which I'll cover in a separate video. Enjoy.

Excellent demo! Just wanted to know that me as a backing vocalist if I put the 2nd harmony with my voice will this processor follow the pitch with my vocal harmony? Or if it doesn't work then if I sing in the main voice with harmony on so can it cut the main voice and sound only the harmonies?

I have this set from China which is a old stock version 1 that came with the Shotgun mic. There is a PRO version that comes with accessories
So just to help clarify about the PRESETS:
A. It is factory programmed with various forms of the VOICE DIAL.
B. It works independent of the voice dial.. say if the dial was on CHILD and you call a preset with a vocoder, the Preset WILL PREVAIL over the actual dial settings.
C. Only when you twist the dial will the voice effect change
D. Stepping on the voice pedal with the preset will not override the preset
E. The same goes for the harmony dials/buttons.
You need to manually move the dials and buttons to match the preset sounds if you wish to make changes.
F. Twisting the Adjust or MIX dials do not work on the presets as long as the mode buttons or dials position are not changed.
Note: The SGV 6 shotgun mic is very heavy and it will sound cleaner esp when you using pitch correction as compared to the SM58 on the same setting.

I also have the BOSS-VE22 before I got the Zoom V6 . The V6 allows you to quickly get things going and have fun ... whilst the VE-22 has a lot of very detailed options and very strange menu with buttons to navigate through.. very shocking they did not have touch screens by now.

VE-22 does not have a dedicated KEY dial making it a nuisance to use.

Great video. Explained well. One question. If you choose the Chromatic Pitch Correction do you still have to choose the Key for the Harmony or will the Harmony adjust accordingly? I perform a few songs that change Keys throughout the song and since I am a one man band I can't stop playing to change the Key. Thank you

I need a help... I have rode videomicro but i wanna use my guitar pedal as an audio interface (I'm using zoom G3X digital multi effect for guitar). But when i connect my microphone to my guitar pedal, I can't hear nothing. What should I do? Thank you..

Why is the power adapter center negative while most adapters are center positive?
Can be confusing replacing the adapter

I own one but you have to reduce the backing vocals so it does not sound artificial

The problem lies when you want a mix your chorus or distortion with your echo/delay. There are some crucial effects that just won’t go together.

Does the V6 chop the delay/reverb effect trail of when you toggle the switch? I want the trail to continue and fade out naturally.

I have a question if it's possible to link this zoom v6 with a guitar or a keybord to create a harmony between the voie and the instrument?

Problem I always see with these vocal pedals is that you can't use the number one thing they would normally be used for. Effects. You have to choose between a good selection of effects, but can't build patches with multiple effects. And in this case it does have a reverb/delay effect, but no control of the parameters of each. Delay time, feedback, intensity, etc. And reverb type, mix, etc.

Can you show us the correct and safe way to connect the V6 to an audio interface such as the AudioBox or other interface for recording live effects with DAW software or offer us a better way to record live vocal effects with musical instrument accompanied? I'm using AKG condenser microphone and AudioBox USB interface
