Watched his interview on YouTube and I relate so much to his daily sketches. I wanna start using the perspective framework and my imagination to be able to communicate the story and express the memory ❤.

'This is not a subway.'
That's true, it's a drawing of a subway. And a damn good one, too :)

I wonder if these invited artists know about the sound effects for every hand gesture they do 😂

I tried drawing on the metro… it’s so shaky. How’d you draw it so neatly 😭

What I've normally done in the past on subways/out in public is just do gestural drawings of people and only save the detailed drawings for if I have time to do them (like if I'm not socializing with other people while outside/have to move quickly somewhere because of time constraints or the needs of my family/friends taking priority). Sometimes there isn't always a good time to get permission from someone to get a good detailed drawing of someone (and if you live in or are visiting a city, sometimes people move too fast to get the chance to talk anyways).
That's why gestural drawings help with getting the general form of somebody while still keeping their identity private. ^^

I can see the "sketchy" lines, even on the final outcome. But that just makes it so graphical, so textured. It really feels like I'm there, especially the train cab

It remind me so much about Kim Jung Gi's croquis, method and style.
No wonder why he's so good.

I wish I was this motivated or addicted to art, I kinda lost it after my mental health gotten worse. I don't know how to gain it back the motivation or addiction to art. I barely even draw or paint anymore and I feel lost. Have any tips?

For me, I'm not really good at drawing right off the bat, so I usually take a picture with a good angle and I draw it that way

Nice one-point perspective. Can't really do that myself unless I took a week to draw that all out
