Fisker Ocean - Light Mod Version 2

Today with special guest Chris, we will unbox and install the version 2 of the Light Hack that includes both the OCEAN lettering and the Fisker Emblem. This works on all trims: One / Extreme / Ultra / Sport. This video shows the complete installation and is a little long, but thorough!

Thanks for the video Matt! Just to clarify for those interested, the emblem cable is not compatible with the original OCEAN Lettering mod without cutting and splicing wires. Hey - bought this version from Chris at Etsy and followed these directions (plus the previous version as well) - very easy (I did have to re-review some sections). I had never opened my hood and did this. Drove io tonight and it looked great! Thanks Chris and MTN Ranger!

Very cool. As a new owner of an Ocean One, just 1 week ago, I decided to make this purchase. Will arrive mid December. I also purchased the tire pressure monitor kits and I found a Bluetooth CD/SD card player that plays through the FM tuner as I have a lot of CDs I want to play. I will be doing some modifications of my own, 3D printed modifications for things like a manual lever for broken vents, a fisker logo keychain where I will try to incorporate a pry tool along with it. As always, excellent video and Chris was great at explaining and giving us the routing he recommends.

Recently did this mod and happy to report it works like a charm (I had the version 2 of the assembly harness which came with both LOGO and Emblem assembled together). Easy to install!!! Getting complements everyday on this mod. I did notice that when I put it “auto” and have “DRL” enabled it turns on which is awesome (that’s w/ me trying to look at reflections of the emblem and OCEAN logo with whatever is in front of me and by the sides, maybe another vehicle or a reflective window). Thank you.

Chris!!! Is the guy! Matt can you ask Chris to come up with a modification that will the door handle lights to stay when the car is on to match the other modified lights. Imagine the car coming down the road with the emblems and the door lights lit up. Super futuristic!

I got the kit early. Installed it today. Awesome lighting addition, HUGE thanks to both of you. I'll also, be doing the back Fisker emblem, ordered that but will come in a couple weeks, HOPEFULLY with my extra keyfob and 2 NFC cards.. As for making blanking out the back emblem from being white I think I will take my chances as the back license plates on many cars have overhead lights to make the plate numbers visible at night. Also, I have seen modifications on cars back lights where some are white mixed with red. So, if I get stopped and told to modify it then I will.

Matt, just wondering about the mod and it's effect on the longevity of the lights themselves and how they may shorten there life because they stay on longer then originally designed.

This is still crazy to me that the cars are already wired for this but it doesn’t work… not even the Ones??
