Their quality is laughable now. It’s not surprising they’re going under, no glitter/rhinestones. They don’t even make regular clothes anymore.

Victorias Secret started to get bad when instead of sewing the bras together they glued them instead.
I noticed a massive shift in quality around 2008 and it got so bad that by 2014 I was returning items to them after one use due to them falling apart. I simply moved on to better quality companies like Mimi Holliday, Empreinte in France, Agent Provocateur. Their sale prices were the same as VS regular prices but the quality is a thousand times better and the design is amazing. I had already outgrown a DDD by then anyway and was happy to get out of their smelly stores.

I was a teenager when I found out that Sophia Neophitou (Victoria's Secret's casting agent) said that Kate Upton was too "obvious" to be an Angel and "she's like a page 3 girl" and I took permanent offense and never stepped foot in one of their stores. Kate Upton is gorgeous and there is nothing wrong with her body. Needless to say, their downfall has been sweet to witness.

I used to shop at VICTORIAS SECRET AND VSPINK so much that I even owned a credit card from VSPINK….nowadays their clothing their fabrics and the styles are not the same anymore I stopped shopping there since 2018 and never looked it was a happy time of our lives when those clothes mattered to girls whom were into that trend. Ps I still have the giant infamous glitter dog that was shown in the fashion show

Okay but can we talk about how stunning Frederique Van Der Wal is? 0:27 For those who don’t know she was basically like an OG angel for Victoria’s Secret before they even had angels. She used to shoot for them so much and do interviews & press for them back in the 90s. She’s an icon! 🤩❤️

i read that .. Heidi Klum always wanted the biggest wings, and the brand usually honored her request, giving her wings that were up to 12 feet tall.!!

They are not completely gone. They have just sold it to a new owner. But they are still there. They bought Adore Me for $400 million USD. They had a drop of sales in 2016 but since 2021, they have risen tremendously.

As a former fan of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and Victoria's Secret Angels, I definitely need to see this!

BTW, I stopped becoming as a fan after Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge and Adriana Lima left Victoria's Secret as Angels, which made sense since they held their final show in NYC back in 2018.

Did an essay on this brand. They refuse to evolve like brands including Savage X Fenty. The unrealistic beauty standards aren’t it. The owner of Victoria secret original vision was to make men feel comfortable shopping for lingerie interesting take

Past commercials seemed rather sadistic, but in more recent years they seemed more wholesome. It makes a lot of sense.
