In this video, we are going to measure the value of AC current with the help of a Current Transformer (CT). The system also includes a rectifier and amplifier circuit for signal conditioning. We have used a 16x2 LCD display with a monitor to display the measured value of current.

Your measure results are wrong, you are only measuring 50% of the current that flows.
If you only use 1 diode, only the positive part of the 50/60Hz sine wave is detected, the negative part is ignored. You need a full bridge rectifier so that you get 100 or 120Hz pulses, and this in combination with a lower value of capacitor C3 (100µF is way to high) for more accurate readings.
