7. PALS - Second Assessment Diagnose and Treat

This PALS lesson discusses a more thorough survey after the initial ABCDE (Airway, Breathing, Circulation, Disability and Exposure) using the acronym SPAM (Signs and symptoms, Past medical history, Allergies and Medications). The second assessment of SPAM focuses on the history and physical examination of the pediatric patient recovering from distress.
