Gröna Bandet Gear List

An overview over the gear I'll be using during my 'gröna bandet' attempt this year. I'm trying to go as light as possible but will carry some extras this year like a fishing gear and some camera equipment. Without those my base weight as about 4,5kg. Which is more than what I usually carry but this time I don't want to compromise on comfort and see how that goes.

What I forgot to mention in the video: Of course there will be a mosquito headnet and I will wear my beloved Sea-to-Summit hat to make it work. I'll also carry a personal locator beacon from Garmin, the inReach mini that a dear friend is borrowing me for the time being. You can actually see it lying on the floor but I failed to present it in front of the camera.

Nice video! I'm gonna copy your silicone lid idea, that's a great tip! Been carrying an extra plastic container for pre-soaking but now I can ditch that weight... Looking forward to your trail videos!

Very informative and detailed video! I haven't been on a hike before, but this is motivating me to go outside more frequently.

There was a constant background noise throughout the video, maybe it came from out of the balcony.

hey bud. I’m wondering why you stopped using your trailstar? Ive just moved to östersund from Scotland permanently and I’m pondering on whether my trailstar will be any good for Sweden considering how bad the flying beasties are here! I have one of the newer flames creed Chinese copies of the trailstar but thinking i should get some sort of inner tent for it unless i want to be eaten alive. Har det bra.
