Gröna Bandet ⎸ Southbound

This is my visual diary of Gröna Bandet, a long distance hike starting at Treriksröset, the northern most point of Sweden, stretching all along the Swedish mountain range and ending in Grövelsjön or vice versa.
What makes this hike different, it’s not a defined path, you have to choose your own route instead. You will pass through diverse and spectacular scenery, from birch forests, lakes and rivers to mountains and long days on the fjäll. Parts of this trail are remote and whilst I spent many days in pure solitude, that had its own charm, it had been the people I met on trail that made this journey an unforgettable one.
Distance: 1354km in 42 days.

Totally wonderful, and thanks for sharing. Brings so many memories, as I did the same hike, the same year, but in the other direction! We should have met somewhere on Kungsleden, but I don't think we did. Anyway, beautiful footage (in two meanings of the word ;) ).
