I received one as a gift handmade by a sweet friend. I'm a little confused as to the medley clip and the round counting but I've got my own method of doing it that will work just fine. Great tool for certain!

Gadgets are awesome - however, my easiest 'gadget' is a pad and pencil - when I finish a row, I note it on my pad. |||| = 4 and / makes 5. Visually easy, too. Makes it easy if having to frog. Using a lifeline is a worthwhile 'gadget' especially when making rows of fancy stitches ... and if a mistake is made - frog to Lifeline. Whatever gadgets used, use with consistency.

How do you use the circle one. It keeps flipping from the present number to the previous one and I get confused which one I finished.

The part about counting more than 10 is not clear. So if I put the melody clip on top of the 0 it means 20 but if I put it between the 3 and the 2 it means 32? Shouldn't it mean 23? How do I mark 33? Counting the double digits is confusing. Marking 32, 23, 45, 54 sounds like a nightmare. The whole chain hanging on the knitting is just annoying. Whatever happened to the good old stitch counter? What was wrong with using that one. It works just fine for me.

I have 141 Rows can I do like melody clip 40 or whatever for over 100?

I’m confused..I can see how it will work with all even or all odd rows, but won’t it be at the wrong end every other row?

Hi Dawn, I love the look of your product, but since you're hands are used up close in this video I think you should wash your hands, specifically under your nails. I'm a registered nurse and your fingernails clearly have dirt (or whatever) underneath them. I'm not trying to be nasty, just a gentle reminder to wash your hands.
