Thank you for putting out updated versions of these videos! One of the most important videos on YouTube. Also, for phones, the Librem 5 phone is supposed to come out in April, 2019. That, to me, is exciting. Copperhead OS is dead, I believe, and Lineage (I've heard) has considerable limitations, but I could be wrong.

I have been using Lineage OS for about two weeks now. It's awesome! Now all Google services are blocked on default. I use YouTube vector which is a fork of the YouTube app. Other then that, I use nothing else from Google.

I can't wait to the librem 5 purism phone comes out. I'm going to buy one. Once it's been out for a couple of months. Really hope a lot of my open source apps. I use will be ported to that form factor.

Another great way to compartmentalize, if you have the RAM, is to use Virtual Machines. I have one VM just for youtube that stays persistent. Another for logged in sites but cookies are auto deleted. And another with a Live OS and Tor for general browsing without logging in to anything.

The best thing is to use separate phones or laptop for personal use and work environment. In certain situation being hacked, being spied or being tracked have advantages too. For working environment, if you are tracked people would know if u involve in accident or somebody is faking ur account. Security comes when more than one person spying the same person so nobody can fake content or activity. But for personal thing, it is dangerous if your data breach and fall into bad people. But your employer or co workers would try to hack or spy your personal phones too. They would never advise you to use separate phone or make compartment for different usage. If you use fb or google in ur personal phone, they can hack too. Sometimes if u bring ur personal phone to work and use free wifi at ur workplace, somebody can hack ur personal phone and msnipulate everything. So personal phone must be set up carefully.
