I demonstrate these new tools

✔️ Luminar Neo Relight AI
✔️ Dust removal AI
✔️ Powerline removal AI

While this isn't a Luminar Neo review per-se, as the software is not yet in it's release state, but you'll at least get an idea of how powerful these new tools work so far. The anticipated Luminar Neo release date is early in 2022, so for now we just get to evaluate and test the tools in their infancy. I'll do a full Luminar Neo review once the software is officially released to the public.

With the advancement of artificial intelligence, photo editing and photo editing software is getting easier and easier, allowing for quick edits which used to take hours using Lightroom and Photoshop. Skylum Luminar Neo has a completely new engine from Luminar AI, so performance improvements are to be expected.

The real test for power line removal will be against the front of a building, a fence - any pattern of lines and rectangles, especially diagonal ones. I have ordered Neo. I think Relight is very useful.

I would mention that replacing skies with heavy clouds is still a problem in both Luminar and Photoshop.
I usually use Select Sky in Photoshop and replace it with a solid blue before attempting to replace the sky.

does the Click > Shift + Click allow for the erase tool to select a straight line? How about for those of us that use a PC? This option is great for areas not done with Ai for power lines and also for the poles in the last image shown. It is the one thing that Skylum so far has not updated for both platforms but we can hope. Oh, also when areas get taken away that are to be kept, NEO has the Restore button so you don't have to do multiple erasures to correct Ai misses.
Yes, it is worth the $ even if not perfect but please try to get Skylum to fix the 8 (that I have documented) areas of concern that makes the PC version not equal to the MAC platform and for which we that use the PC still pay the same price. Text and Frames would be good also. Then maybe I would use it only instead of PSX Pro. Guess those big mountains are keeping the floods etc. out of your neighborhood. Have not seen any issues where I used to live but I certainly have spent time where the fires and floods of 2021 hit. I will take a train derailment anytime.

The photos shots taken with the canon can you run a comparison between the free canon dust removal software and the neo on say 1000 photos, ,,,which is quicker on the same photos after a photo shoot and the time both took and which was the best removal tool out of the two Please...and may be do the same with the Nikon software.

Have you compared performance of the Relight feature using jpeg’s vs raw files?
