I think my favorite part about this scene is that I totally thought Luffy was gonna play it off all cool like most Shounen protagonists, but the moment he picks his face up, he's just as much, if not more, of a blubbering mess as Usopp is. That feels so much more genuine then the typical "I always believed you'd be back" kind of attitude that I see from a lot of other shounen animes. Oda's not afraid to give his characters emotions and it shows.

I love this. Zoro said that the first words out of Usopp’s mouth had to be an apology, but even he was stubborn enough to wait. He pretended not to hear him until it was an apology. He’s a really unforgiving guy, but he’s soft when it comes to his crew mates.

I love how Luffy says “We are finally complete”. It shows that even if they would’ve left him there, it would leave a permanent Usopp shaped hole in the crew that none of them would be able to forget. Every member of the crew is equally irreplaceable, regardless of how skilled they are.

The look on zoro’s face when usopp says he’s sorry is a look that says “it’s about damn time.”

I still can't forgive Usopp for not taking part in Robin rescue mission. Okay, I understand he sent his friend King Of Snipers but still he could show up.

I cried so much at the moment where Luffy bursted out crying when he told Usopp to grab his hand. It shows how much appreciation Luffy has towards his crewmates. It makes me feel like they’re his family, not some subordinates that work for him and can be replaced easily.

Water 7/Enies Lobby are by far my favourite arc in large part due to the Usopp drama. It was real. It was emotional. It was impactful. I'd say Arlong Park is second with the raw emotion when Nami was hurting herself followed by the infamous walk. Third is Marineford. The "event" that occurs in that would've hit harder if I wasn't spoiled for it but it hit hard all the same. I have a special place for Drum Island too because I love Hiriluk.

As strange as it sounds, this was the scene that proved how strong Usopp is.
