When I found this on flathub, it intrigued me, not only for mentioning Total Annihilation, but being a new RTS that is free. It doesn't need you to buy resources and it expands the tech tree like a lot of TA mods. This, for the couple game I played, is pretty good and close to OTA.

U should use the barbarian ai. As it is the only a bit challenging one that can deal with water too
